What Should We Notice When Replace Old Ironing Belts And Install New One ?

When replacing old ironing belts and installing new ones, please observe the following precautions:

1. Allow the Ironer to Cool Down Completely

Do not install new ironer belts while the ironer is still hot. Residual heat can damage the new belts during installation, as the fabric will shrink significantly when standing under heat.

2. Increase Temperature Gradually

After installing the new ironing belts, do not raise the temperature rapidly. A sudden rise in temperature can easily cause the fibers to shrink.

3. Distinguish the Front and Back Sides - especially important for 50% Nomex / 50% Polyester ironing belts:

•Working face (touching linen): Nomex side — slightly light yellow in color. The Nomex cover (cap) is also sewn on this side.
•Back side (contacting roller): Polyester side.

4. Check Pin Length

The length of pins passing through the hooks to connect the belts should be approximately 6 mm shorter than the belt width. Otherwise, the excess length will scrape against the roller, resulting in damage to both the belts and the linens.

5. Select the Correct Belt Type

Not all types of ironing belts are interchangeable. Belt selection must be based on the working temperature:
