| Method | Description | Recommendation |
||
| 1. Heat Sealing | Using a soldering iron or heat gun to melt-seal the cut edge |
Highly Recommended— Simple, efficient, and cost-effective
2. Binding (Cover Strip) |
Wrapping and stitching a thin fabric layer around the cut edge | Not Recommended—Complex, time-consuming; thick binding may cause bouncing during operation
| 3. Glue / Resin Coating | Applying high-temperature resistant adhesive or resin to the cut edge |
Not Recommended—Glue hardens when dry and creates impact force during operation, potentially causing hook disengagement |
Heat sealing is our most recommended edge sealing method, which is simple, efficient, and more cost-effective. Below is the operation guide:
Step 1 –Cut the ironer canvas belt to the required length.

Step 3 –Fastening with clipper hooksUse a professional fastening machine tool — either a hydraulic manual lacing machine or an electric automatic fastening machine — to fasten the clipper hooks to the belt. Installation Note: Make sure to fully insert the belt into the vice bottom and hold it firmly with both hands — no wobbling. |
